In Chinese mythology the Phoenix is the eternal companion of the Dragon. It is a symbol of nature and is forever changing, transforming itself with life-creating fire.

This flowering tea is crafted with single green tea leaves, orange lily petals and a single amaranth bloom in the middle. The lily is a symbol of fire and resurrection and, as the bloom gently opens in the water, the flame-like orange petals rise and reveal a single purple amaranth bloom which symbolises immortality.

Each bud can make up to two pots of tea.

For best results brew for around 3 minutes in water of 80-85ºc.
